Mission Statement

ECDP’s mission is a Torah Centric Orthodox Congregation which strives to serve the spiritual, educational and social needs of the West Hempstead and Franklin Square community. The synagogue embraces new members and long-term participants in a warm, welcoming family atmosphere. To achieve this aim ECDP strives to create:

• A warm and inviting atmosphere;
• An inclusive atmosphere, regardless of level of Judaism or background;
• opportunities for children and young adults to be actively engaged in the shul and davening;
• learning opportunities for both men and women; and
• serious, quality and quiet davening in each of its minyanim.
