Stacey & Moshe RadinskyGuests of Honor

Stacey and Moshe are the proud parents of their four children, Ilana, Miriam, Avi and Eli whom they raised for the past 18 years in West Hempstead. Throughout their years in West Hempstead, they have been strong supporters of the West Hempstead Jewish institutions including Eitz Chayim, HANC and Young Israel.

Stacey attended HANC High School where she first learned about the unique reputation of the West Hempstead community and its leaders. Following completion of her medical training at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Stacey and Moshe moved with their young family to West Hempstead. Stacey has been an active volunteer and leader for Eitz Chayim, the Young Israel and HANC. Stacey is a current Eitz Chayim board member, she runs the Dinner Committee and maintains the Eitz Chayim website. Stacey also ran the HANC lunch program and served as Treasurer of the HANC PTA. Stacey is an allergist with a practice in Merrick.

Moshe has also assumed a number of roles in the community. Moshe led Parent Child Learning at the Young Israel, he served on the HANC Dinner Committee and he has been a member of the Eitz Chayim board. Noticing that there was a need for online scheduling of parent-teacher conferences, Moshe created the Parent-Teacher Conferencing computer program and software for HANC’s Middle School and High School. Moshe and Stacey also volunteer as technical resources to a number of day schools throughout the country. Moshe works for a health insurance start-up based in Minnesota.

Sixteen years ago, Dvorah was looking for a cohesive community that reflected Torah values and valued chesed, West Hempstead fit the bill.

Dvorah feels tremendous gratitude to the shul, Rabbi Schwalb, and Heather Rutner for creating such an amazing community. They have made it possible for Dvorah to satisfy her need for connection as she makes her own contributions to the West Hempstead family. She has served on the Eitz Chaim chesed committee for years, and, with her love of Torah learning, she established a Shabbat women’s learning group in her home. The group, which meets from Pesach until the time change in the fall, has covered a wide range of Torah subjects.

Dvorah works as a psychotherapist with offices in Cedarhurst, Brooklyn, and West Hempstead, and she writes and speaks on topics relating to marriage and relationships. She enjoys painting as a hobby.

She is proud to be the mother of Amichai, Yedidya, Shira, Hananel, and Eliyahu, the mother-in-law of Chana Gila, and, iy”h, the future mother-in-law of Aliza and Tal. Dvorah is proudest of all to be the grandmother of Zev and Dalia.
