CONDOLENCES We regret to inform you of the passing of Ida Hirsch A"H, mother of our member Shulamit Bell. Shiva will take place at 650 Evergreen Drive until Monday morning. No visitors after 10 pm. May the Almighty comfort the family among the mourners of Tzion and Yerushalayim.

PARSHAT ZACHOR We read Parshat Zachor in Shul this Shabbat. It will be read approximately around 10:15 am. There will be an additional reading after shacharit davening and 10 minutes before mincha in the main shul. Please be sure

REFLECTIVE SAFETY BELTS: In light of recent tragic events, the Orthodox Union has provided reflective safety belts to shuls at no cost. ECDP has been able to obtain these belts for members to borrow, as needed, for example, when walking home from Shul Motzei Shabbat. They will be located in a bin in the closet on the Sprague side entrance. We ask that you please return them at your earliest convenience so that the next member in need can make use of them. Thank you.

MATANOT LAEVYONIM: Rabbi Schwalb is collecting funds that will be distributed on Purim day for the purpose of the mitzvah of Matanot LaEvyonim. The money will be divided between people who are in need locally and aniyei Israel. Anyone who wishes to fulfill the mitzvah through Rabbi Schwalb may give him cash or a check (made out to the Rabbi's Fund) anytime through Purim morning.

PURIM CHAGIGAH: Please join us for live music and dancing as we joyously celebrate Purim. Megillah reading at 7:40 pm on Wednesday, March 20th followed directly by a dairy break the fast buffet and music.

MANC NOTICE FOR WOMEN - PURIM SCHEDULE 2019; The mikvah will be open: Wednesday night, March 20 following the megillah reading: 9-11 pm; Thursday night, March 21, following the Purim seudah: 7:30–10:30 pm.

PURIM CARNIVAL & SHOW! SAVE THE DATE! Join us THIS Wednesday, March 20th during Megillah reading for the best night of the year! We have TWO amazing events this year, running from 7:20-8:30PM! Ages 2 & 3: All children in Nursery Alef and younger will get to enjoy an awesome evening with Morah Faigy & Matt the Music Man! Featuring a funny and interactive musical comedy show, dance party, snacks, prizes, & more! Bring your Groggers for our "Mini Megillah" reading! This program will take place in Morah Faigy's classroom in ECDP. Ages 4+: All kids in Nursery Bet and older are invited to join us for an unbelievable circus-themed carnival, featuring games, prizes, photo booth, face painting, cotton candy, snow cones, & a lot MORE! Bring your Groggers for our "Mini Megillah" reading! This program will take place across the street from ECDP at Shaaray Shalom ("JCC"). For safety purposes, please use their front entrance as the back "driveway entrance" will be locked and alarmed.

PURIM 2019 MISHLOACH MANOT PROGRAM: Thanks to everyone for signing up for Mishloach Manot and making it such a success. Confirmation emails have been emailed to those who have signed up. Please remember to make sure the lights are off and the doors are locked when you are the last or next to last person to leave the Shul. Thank you for your cooperation.

MEMO FROM THE WELCOMING COMMITTEE: The Welcoming Committee welcomes new families to West Hempstead. Additionally, they arrange a Friday night dinner to be delivered to new families for their first Shabbat. We are looking for more volunteers that would be interested in offering to bring Shabbat food for a new family when they move in.
